How NeuroPay Works

1. Brainwave Capture

Users wear a lightweight EEG headset (like Muse 2 or OpenBCI) while thinking a secure mental pattern—such as a memory or imagined shape. Dry electrodes detect brainwave signals non-invasively.

2. Signal Processing

EEG signals are filtered to remove noise from muscle movement, blinking, or electrical interference. A band-pass filter isolates frequencies between 0.5–40 Hz, and a notch filter removes 60 Hz power-line noise.

3. AI-Based Feature Extraction

NeuroPay’s machine learning model extracts key patterns—like alpha, beta, and gamma band power—and encodes them into a unique “brainprint.” We start with SVMs and expand to LSTM neural networks for sequential modeling.

4. Secure Authentication

The extracted brainprint is converted into a cryptographic key using SHA-256. When the same mental pattern is repeated, the system verifies the new brainprint against the stored one—no password required.

5. Seamless Payment Integration

NeuroPay connects with digital wallets (e.g., PayPal, MetaMask) or tap-to-pay terminals via API and NFC/Bluetooth. Imagine authenticating a payment just by thinking—hands-free, secure, and private.
